CEREC® (with CAD/CAM)

CEREC® (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is a digital imaging and processing system that allows us to prepare, measure, and create porcelain crowns for teeth all in one day. Utilizing computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, your dentist can prepare your tooth for crown placement, then use digital imaging to measure the tooth and create specifications for your lifelike crown. These specifications are digitally sent to an on-site milling machine that will immediately begin crafting your restoration.

Digital X-Rays

Digital radiography is a safer, faster, and more comfortable way for your dentist to capture detailed X-rays of your teeth and oral structures. X-rays are necessary at least once a year to keep your dental records updated, and may also be taken to diagnose an existing issue or improve your dental treatment planning. Compared to traditional radiography, digital X-rays emit up to 90% less radiation, making them significantly safer for patients of all ages.

Intraoral Cameras

During your routine dental checkups and cleanings, your dentist will perform a careful visual inspection of your teeth, gums, and oral tissues to spot signs of existing issues. For a more thorough examination, your dentist may utilize a digital intraoral camera to see areas that are difficult to see with the bare eye. The camera increases the chances that your dentist will detect signs of tooth decay, tooth damage, gum disease, or other issues that should be addressed immediately.

DEXIS™ IS 3700 Scanner

The DEXIS™ IS 3700 Scanner is the most accurate device of its kind on the market. It allows us to more accurately fit appliances to your mouth, and we are able to do so in just three minutes! Previously, dental practices relied on messy, uncomfortable impressions, but this scanner makes those a thing of the past. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible dental care in a comfortable setting, and this scanner allows us to accomplish both goals!

DIAGNOdent® Cavity Detection

Cavities are common, and the best way to treat them (if prevention fails) is to do so as early as possible. With DIAGNOdent’s innovative, early cavity detection technology, your dentist can check for signs, such as weak enamel, that aren’t easy to spot at first. Early detection significantly increases your chances of avoiding the need for more extensive treatment, such as root canal therapy, to treat advanced tooth decay.

DentalVibe®

Local anesthesia is a necessary part of many dental treatments, and while it can provide heightened comfort by numbing the appropriate area of your mouth, the injection can often be uncomfortable for patients. DentalVibe® uses advanced technology to soothe the injection site of local anesthesia, using percussive micro-oscillations that relax and block pain in your oral tissues.
